Jodhpur – The Blue City is definitely on every travel enthusiast’s travel bucket list. Where History and tales of kings and their valor comes alive. Plenty of trekking, site seeing while trying to tick off every item on your to-do list is the utmost priority.

A four- day much-awaited break with my husband to Jodhpur was enhanced with our comfortable stay at Zone by the Park. In my first ever Hotel review let me share my personal experience at this property with all my travel buddies.

About – Zone by the Park

Zone by the Park is a Business Boutique hotel by the Park Chain of Hotels. It is a 4 star- deluxe hotel situated on the outskirts of the city yet in close proximity to the tourist spots and other attractions. The hotel consists of  90 guest rooms known as comfort zones, completely wired with modern amenities and crafted with modern state of art interiors.

Location

It is situated at a distance of 6 km from the airport and 3 km from
Railway Station. Address – Jawahar Tower 29 Light Industrial Area, Jodhpur 342003 India.

Rooms at Zone by The Park

The first impression was simply wow. The rooms are spacious and done with bright green-yellow color combinations. The view is not so great as it overlooks the industrial area but that should not be a matter of concern. They smell fresh and are situated away from the elevator, so not noisy at all. The rooms are fully equipped with high-speed internet, electronic safe, a minibar and an HD television. The washrooms are modern with hot-cold overhead/hand shower and an assortment of other required toiletries of daily use.

Facilities at Zone by the Park

Zone by the Park is a good option for conference and wedding facilities. The Hotel gives the best value deals and offers on food and other services. Their many years of expertise should turn any function into a memorable experience.

Z bar – The high deficiency Bar is a great place to meet friends over drinks and unwind with some really groovy tunes.

Travel desk – Even though Ubers and Olas are freely available, the hotel provides safe and economical transport facilities. One can avail of pick up/ drop to the airport and hotel cars for long-distance trips.

Room Service -Room service is round the clock, from continental to local cuisine the menu is extensive. The food was very delicious food and prepared according to our specifications.

Vitalia Fitness Centre – The Fitness Centre is on the topmost floor. It has treadmills, exercycles, weights, and other gym equipment

Samayaa Spa – The Spa is adjoining the fitness center. If you wish to avail of a massage or spa treatment you need to make an appointment a few hours prior.

Playa Pool – It is an indoor swimming pool, uniquely located for a comfortable and healthy swim with all the peripherals available. The lighting and the piped music  make this swim a worthwhile and  refreshing experience.  Its also open till 8 PM unlike some hotel pools that shut by sunset.  

Dining Options

Bazaar – Zone by the Park is a beautiful multi-cuisine  Restaurant.On the 3rd floor.  It is the main restaurant that offers options for large groups of diners and small tables as well. It has an open live kitchen. Guests can savor all meals here. We visited each morning for a scrumptious buffet breakfast. It had everything laid out from fresh juices to cereal, Indian dishes to continental cuisine. Eggs, waffles, dosas, and pancakes can be made to order.

The Z Bar – The main highlight of the bar is the lighting and ambiance. It grabs your attention as soon as you set foot in it. With exceptional service, it offers cocktails and interesting bar bites and food.

Overall 

It was the most comfortable and homely stay I had for a while. No noisy children or overcrowded buffets. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. And to top it all, the front office staff were very extremely helpful and polite. A special mention to the front office and Reservation staff lead by Dishant and Jaidev. Considering it is a business hotel they made our stay as tourists, most enjoyable and joyful with their expertise. They even let us do a late check out as we had an evening flight. Lastly, I would definitely recommend Zone by the Park for the value you get for the money you spend.
