Bohemian Brew
Bohemian Brew is an all-new Tea cum Sheesha destination in Khar, Bandra. Which promises to serve the best variety of tea with sheesha along with a menu that has Mediterranean and Continental dishes to savour. The place looks fresh and inviting with artistic, pretty decor that will definitely get you to smile. The Co-owner/Chef Rahul Desai passionately showed us around the restaurant which covered the dining area, sheesha, tea lounge, and an exclusive cozy corner. I was very impressed with his tea collection and his colour coded test tubes of teas across the Tea bar. But the best part was outdoors, the music, the lighting, and the overall vibe have to be experienced.
Recommendations
Watermelon & Feta Salad – The might of freshness was proven again, with the watermelon and feta salad standing out as the clear winner.
Hummus and Pita – Beautifully textured hummus, one of the best I have ever had.
Teas – The different teas definitely need to be tried. Ask the chef for recommendations.

Junkyard Cafe
The name itself is descriptive enough to know what’s in store for you. Decor and music just get you groovy and happy. The ambiance is just fabulous with funky seats, barrel tops, crazy lighting, tin walls with graffiti is the first look of this Bandra cafe. A huge Robot made out of scrap greets you at the entrance. Junkyard Cafe offers you a cool indoor seating too.
Recommendations
The Edison Bulb – Both Watermelon and Lemon base were good. Well prepared with Vodka and Smirnoff and served in a bulb with the dramatic effect of dry ice.
Chicken/ Paneer Tikka – The chicken tikka platter had boneless chicken tikkas marinated in tandoori chicken masala and cooked to perfection. Soft and succulent. Finger Licking Good.
The Veg Seekh – Soft and delicious, did not miss my meat this time. Loved it even more as it was served piping hot. A perfect pairing with cocktails and beer.

Verandah
Wow, what a place!! It was love at first sight. The fresh feel of Veranda can be only experienced in the day time. However for the evening magical dining experience I will be back for sure. With painting from the featured artist of the week adorning this beautiful eatery, it just felt like a perfect afternoon that I never wanted the #DRBrunch scenes to end.
Recommendations
Mocktails – Berry Ice tea, mix berry Lemonade, and Pina colada. Each one was refreshing and executed to perfection.
All the starters were top notch, however, my personal bests were
Cottage cheese Trilogy – Excited by the look of this dish when it came to the table but was impressed by its taste too.
Chicken 65 – Fiery soft chicken tossed in red spices. Yummy for my tummy.
Desserts
Gulkhand choco bar – Chocolate and the taste of Gulkhand was a treat for my sweet tooth.

Pi Pizzeria
Pizza is comfort food. Pizza is happiness. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like eating pizzas. Let’s welcome Pi Pizzeria and their first outlet in Mumbai. Situated in Khar, the place serves up some European style gourmet pizzas. All the pizzas are in the classic 10-inch size, the ingredients are outsourced from various parts of the world yet pricing is very affordable. Loads of options for vegetarians.
Recommendations
Dough Balls with Garlic Butter – A perfect combination, you could actually get the fragrance of freshly baked bread. Brilliant dish.
Baked Mushrooms and Quattro Pizza – A fantastic dish, soft gooey squishy mushrooms that were loaded with mozzarella and just melted away in the mouth.
Stagioni – Pepperoni, Ham, Olives, Mushrooms – The best pizza for a meat lover like me? No, there was more, it was no ordinary pizza. The salty pepperoni and chunky ham took it to another level. Must order off the menu.

Hello Guppy
Hello Guppy is simply adorable, I just cant stop smiling as I write this post. The first look at the restaurant interior me flawed. Colour and character in every nook and corner. Situated at Godrej 1 at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Hello Guppy specializes in Japanese cuisine. Such a cool vibe and relaxed atmosphere here. Loved everything about the place from the painted walls, colourful bar, unique crockery to the creative menu served on a chopping board. With cute Guppy Caricature everywhere I couldn’t wait to try some fish.

The sushi is the best I have has till date. Try the spicy salmon roll. I just couldn’t get enough of this. Sweetannu recommends strongly.
Matcha Fondant – If you like experimenting with new dishes you will love this dessert. A sweet- bitter matcha fondant brilliantly combined with chocolate crumble and ice cream. Ditch the cheesecake and go for this beauty.
