Live life non-stop – Here are 3 mantras to live by
Foods that provide Vitamin C
I love my curls, crow’s feet and white hair. My age is something I’m quite proud of so naturally, I believe that it’s just a number. As long as I’m taking care of my health, I know I’ll be happy inside out.
Reaching this point has not been smooth, I can tell you. There have been bumps in the road and yet my 3 mantras have stayed with me through thick and thin. What are they? Well…let me tell you!
Have a healthy diet
Cooking is something I adore. I am always on the lookout for how I can include all the food groups like carbohydrates, protein, fruits and vegetables, and vitamins and minerals into my daily diet. It’s hard because maintaining health is hard. We tend to slack, we tend to not stick to healthy habits. But that’s why being healthy is an ongoing process.
Recently, while I was recovering from an infection, I went on a reading spree, trying to understand how I could boost my immunity. That’s when I learnt about the role of Vitamin C. I learnt that it is a vital micronutrient that stimulates our immune system and protects our body from contracting infections. When I read that my favourite fruits like strawberries and grapes are rich sources of Vitamin C, I was overjoyed! But then I realized that these were seasonal fruits. How could I ensure I was getting sufficient Vitamin C in that case?
I spoke to my doctor and post our discussion, decided to add Limcee Vitamin C Chewable 500mg tablet to my regime as Foods that provide Vitamin C.
Maintain a routine
Over the years my routines have changed – as should be the case. When I was in college, sleep was often sacrificed for other, more important things. Now, I know how important it is for me to get my 8 hours of sleep.
It is critical however to make a routine based on your priorities. I work from home so I have time in the mornings and evenings where I can exercise or cook. You may have to adjust your routine based on your lifestyle.
One thing which I have added to my routine recently is a gratitude journal. My daughter Zenia introduced me to the concept and I like the idea so much that every night, I write down in my little diary the small things that have made a difference to me during the day. It has helped me to take a pause, to take 5 minutes to think of something I am grateful for.
Try out different forms of exercise
If I had a second love after cooking, it would be exercising. I like to push my body now and then to see what all it can do. I love going for walks in the park, working out on the equipment that the park near my house has, yoga and even dancing. I have noticed that different forms of exercise work on different muscles and that makes me feel stronger.
My 3 mantras have been helping me in leading a healthier, stress-free, and better quality of life. It’s a constant struggle to build immunity and stay protected in these unsure times. But I have found a way by adding Vitamin C to my lifestyle and #BoostImmunityWith Limcee.
So, what are your 3 mantras? Tell me in the comments below!

Even I have a few mantras like yours: Vitamin C in the diet, Nimbu Paani in hot water, Morning Walk, Evening Aerobic, Music Riyaaz and everything else in between…least enjoyable at this stage of life is cooking…I want to pursue my hobbies now rather than devoting time to mundane stuff. Liked your approach and attitude very much. You are an inspiration…
