Are you looking for ideas and Recipes for a 20 minute meal?
Do you want to get meals on the table with minimal fuss and time? Sometimes we are rushed for time and really do not have the inclination to make an elaborate dinner. Who doesn’t like a quick meal when going through a hectic work schedule through the day….many of you with a lot going through in the family will be looking for a quick and tasty food option. You definitely don’t wish to spend lengthy hours in the kitchen need something warm or hot. Infact dinner should be a light meal, so that you can digest it before going to bed.
Here you’ll find recipes with a preparation and cooking time of fewer than 20 minutes. Super time-saving and super easy! There’s something for all those who love to cook yet have no time. I have put together 6 Recipes for a 20 minute meal.

Salli Per Eedu
This is an egg on potato crisps dish. It is a quintessential Parsi breakfast dish which is super addictive! It can be eaten as a meal with bread or Roti.
Try out with my quick recipe:
You will need 3 eggs and half kg wafers or potato straws for this recipe. Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped tomatoes and the potato straws and spread to make a thick layer. Add 1/4 cup of water and let the straws soften a bit. Sprinkle some chopped coriander and break 2-3 eggs over the potatoes. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the eggs and cover the dish with a lid. Now cook it on low flame till the eggs yolks are fully cooked. And you are done! Serve Sali Par Eedu with bread or roti.
Maggi with Veggies
We all love Maggi but most of it dont find it healthy. What if I told you we can make a heathy recipe with it and enjoy during times of Quarantine.
To make a pot of Vegetable Maggi
I one packet of Maggi Masala. Boil a cup of vegetables like peas, sweet corn, bell peppers, french beans, and carrots in 2 cups of water. Add the Maggi after 5 minutes and a tastemaker. Grate a cube of cheese once the noodles begin to boil. Last, add a teaspoon of cooking oil and dry the water and serve it hot.

Chicken Vegetable Salad
Chop up the vegetables in medium size pieces. Boil and shred the chicken and keep aside. Except iceberg lettuce and grapes add all the veggies in a bowl 3. Mix well, now add olive oil salt, pepper, and honey. Last add in the chopped iceberg, grapes and shredded chicken. This makes a super nutritious meal with garlic bread and dip.
Chinese Cabbage
Making a regular cabbage bhajji can be boring and very unappetizing especially for young kids. This is cabbage with a Chinese twist.
Finely chop the cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic first and then onion. Stir occasionally and once the onions are translucent, add the cabbage and bell peppers and slit green chilies. Now add the soya sauce, chili sauce, and pepper powder. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes. Have it piping hot with roti or soup style noodles.

Quinoa with Crunchy Veggies & Chicken
In a non stick pan, take one tablespoon of oil, saute onions on high flame, add garlic and green chili. Then stir fry green capsicum, cabbage, yellow and red capsicum. Add green peas, carrot, chicken and boiled quinoa. Add some salt and black pepper. Take the flame off and add lemon juice. Add coriander to garnish the dish.

Spicy Lemon Prawns with Tomato Sauce
But this is my all-time favourite dinner dish to stir up. And the spice and flavours are just so finger licking good.
I cooked a cup of prawns in fresh lemon juice and toss in some pepper and smoked paprika. I also add some tomato puree and let it cook, keep it aside for serving. Now I cook my rice noodles in another pot. I then toss in chopped spinach, salt and boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Once it is drained, I drizzle some sesame oil on it. I place the spinach noodles in a bowl, add the shrimp sauce, and topped with sesame seeds and … VOILA!

All recipes are quick. I usually make maggi in the way men on regular days. But never added cheese to it. All try this version too.
