Food Reviews In Bandra
Food Reviews In Bandra – Often when I travel down the by-lanes of Bandra, from the market, gym, school, bank, etc, I simply look out of the window to see has any new eateries, restaurants, pubs, shop have opened up.
PIZZA METRO PIZZA
On my way from school just opposite the Ambedkar statue is restaurant PIZZAMETROPIZZA. My husband and I decided to drop over for a pizza over the weekend. In fact, I was told by the lovely host this place will now complete two years.T he interior is very tastefully done with some great artifacts all over. We ordered the whole wheat thin crust. We ordered the Capricciosa – It was a tomato, ham, salami stuffed with cheese. I could see it getting made in the wood fire oven. Yummy and moist and not so heavy at all. A must visit for all age groups, some youngsters there got a hands-on experience in making their own pizzas.
Fisheteria
Shopping with sister farzeen at Infinity Mall distresses me totally. The retail therapy, gossip and catching up on childhood memories.is what is on the agenda. Not to miss out on Selfies and catching a bite at the foodcourt. After some workouts in the trial room and modeling slippers at reliance Trends, we decided to grab a bite. My sister vouched for the Fisheteria Burger and fried prawns, but we settled for a Combo meal of Prawn paratha roll, prawn chips and a lovely green refreshing lemonade just for Rs 125/- It was fresh and well spiced. I loved it and was very filling too.
The Barking Deer
Another place I visited was ” the Barking Deer” during the Honey Beer Festival. It is Mumbai’s first Microbrewery where they make their own beer. it was Girls Night Out and no one was stopping us from having our beer. The pub was all wooden with lovely people chatting away and enjoying themselves. We were given three beers to taste and choose from, I liked them all, it’s simply nectar for my throat. But majority wins and we settled for the “Indian Pale Ale” a little strong but didn’t get us to misbehave. The non Veg platter has well cooked tender portions of chicken wings, Barbecued chicken and prawns to offer.A fun place to celebrate birthdays friendship and get high on your life, because you just live once and there is no guarantee for tomorrow.
Lakme fashion week
Jalwa Jalwa …Fashion ka hai yeh Jalwa ..Yes, Palladium Hotel hosted Winter Lakme Fashion week 2014. I happened to get passes from Reliance trends – the footwear partner in this whole event . Everything about the evening was fashionable , lovely people , clothes and ambiance . We witnessed two events- Jabong- River Island Collection that had great trendy party wear and smart casuals on the ramp. Later in the evening, Anju Modi displayed her collection with her mesmerizing range of Indian and bridal wear. Jacqueline Fernandez walked the ramp like a Apsara who stole a thousand hearts .
Wagh Bakri Tea lounge
I had to visit the Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge at Vile Parle-E and was not aware of such a thing ever existed . Always visiting Cafe coffee day , Costa Coffee and other coffee Places . I found the place easily as it was bang opposite the beautiful Marble Jain Mandir. The place had a mix of all age groups ordering Masala tea with Dhokla and Elaichi tea with brun maska. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and modern furniture . This place existed since 5 years. Yes …5 years and is doing good business. I was felicitated with a certificate and a hamper of Wagh Bakri teas for winning a facebook Selfie contest. Cheers to Wagh Bakri
