You may have gone through months attempting to think about a travel place, its climate, its seasons, the celebrations and the deals of the travel industry it offers. Sitting in Quarantine I have narrowed down on one such heavenly abode that every Indian should visit once in a lifetime – The State of Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh is one the states of India’s northernmost region. The State is located in the northwest region of the Himalayas range. Himachal Tourism enhanced furthermore in 1894 when the British Rulers declared Shimla as “The Summer Capital of India”.

Himachal has untouched pristine entities of Nature that will take your breath away. You will agree that you sometimes just want to run away from city life to explore deep valleys and sing songs in the mountains. Himachal Pradesh is a peaceful Paradise none can regret once visited. Slippery trekking courses and gleaming rivers alongside epic landscapes. Now just imagine that! Positivity in Nature can be experienced here for sure.
1. Shimla
Shimla is the capital of the State of Himachal Pradesh. It is also the largest city. An overrated hill Station yet top on the list of places to visit. Shimla is situated at an average altitude of 2206 metres above sea level. This pretty Hill station is fast gaining popularity as a weekend getaway from Delhi and Chandigarh people.
2. Manali
At an incredible height of 6260 feet above sea level, Manali is one of the most popular, beautiful and picturesque hill stations in India. Its natural beauty has ensured it has become one of the most visited hill stations and is a favorite destination for couples and honeymooners.
3. Kullu
Kullu is a nature lover’s paradise. It is a heavenly abode with lush greenery, pristine river streams and a wonderful climate, Kullu is known as one of the most popular tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh. Often travelers combine visits to Mandi and Kullu in one trip; it is a true outdoor adventure lover’s paradise.
4. Kasauli
Kasauli is another colonial landmark in Himachal Pradesh which is located at an altitude of 1,927 meters. Located in Solan district, Kasauli is famous for being a home of many tourist spots which incorporate Monkey Point, Kasauli Club, Sunset Point, Kasauli Brewery, Christ Church, Central Research Institute, and Baptist Church. 5. Dalhousie
Dalhousie is the famous Bollywood shooting hotspot and most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is built on and around five hills: Kathalagh, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Bhangora. Dalhousie is so picture postcard perfect with snow capped peaks, lakes, and waterfalls, it is known as the Mini Switzerland of India. With over 600 hotels in the area (creating temporary jobs for upwards of 5,000 people each year), there are plenty of accommodation choices to suit every budget.
6. Dharamshala
Dharamshala is a panoramic and magical hill station, tucked away in the Himalayas. It borders with the Dhauladhar ranges and has thick deodar forests all around. Tour operators are happy to offer Dharamshala to the new tourists as it has so much to offer the Nature lovers. Dharamshala is also the residence of His Holiness – the Dalai Lama. Also enjoy a boat ride across the Dal Lake and witness the royal the Kangra Fort.
7. Kufri
Kufri is the tiny hamlet situated on the hill not far from the State Capital of Shimla. Also well-known for Himalayan wild life zoo which houses the rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan Monal. In the winter, Kufri offers panoramic views and popular Ski tracks.
8. Spiti Valley
Spiti Valley is situated at an altitude of 3,810 meters, it is a remote village up in this cold desert mountains. In spite of this place is extremely distant, Spiti valley is gaining popularity with adventure lovers and spiritual seekers. Spiti is home to many Buddhist monasteries and even offers thrilling activities, such as trekking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and wildlife spotting.
