Ensure stronger 2018 – In my earlier post in the month of January, I had made a New Years’ resolution to get stronger and fitter in 2018, adopting Ensure in my diet. In the year 2017, you saw a very indulgent SweetAnnu gorging on tasty treats while going for food and restaurant reviews. A food blogger’s job is beyond indulging in heavy food so I decided to make the difference.
So besides trying to eat healthy meals including fruits and vegetables, I took the pledge to add healthy proteins and nutritive value meals to my diet.
ENSURE TO MY RESCUE
It has been three months now since I have added Ensure to my daily diet and regime. Post-workout is when I intake two spoonfuls of Ensure Protein powder with warm water/milk. Ensure is very delicious, it is also soothing and comforting. Keeps me full till dinner time. The vanilla flavour is my favourite. In fact I value add it with a spoonful of flaxseed powder. Drinking Ensure has become a routine of my life. I even recommended it to my mother and aunty who have started taking Ensure and are loving the taste.
ENSURE MADE A DIFFERENCE
The simple changes I made in my lifestyle have made all the difference. So my dinner is before 8 pm. No refined sugary indulgent sweet dishes and moreover the regular intake of Ensure.
1. I feel a burst of energy, can squeeze in more work, and achieve my planned daily routine without feeling tired.
2. I have gained good muscle weight and toned down my thighs. My trainer too is happy with my endurance levels and stamina.

5. Instant energy and strength post-workout.
6. With my conscious efforts to remember things, my short term memory has improved aiding me to multi-task too.

ENSURE IS FUN
As a food blogger and recipe developer, I made a Chia pudding with milk chia, banana, dates, and Ensure. Everyone in my family loves the taste. It can be stirred up in 15 minutes flat. I wish to share the same with all of you.
Ingredients
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup finely chopped dates
- Few chopped walnuts
- 3 scoops of Ensure protein powder
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Method
1. Soak two big tbsp chia seeds in half cup water. For best results leave overnight.
2. Mix Ensure powder with milk and stir well.
3. Add chopped dates, cinnamon powder, and dates.
4. Now stir in the Chia seeds. Pour this in small dessert glasses.
5. Top it with sliced bananas and chopped walnuts.
