A Mothers Love Tribute- Short Mothers Day Poem

What is Mothers love? A short Mothers Day Poem

A short Mothers Day Poem –  What is Mothers love? The lucky ones like me will love to tell a tale or two. I have been thinking about what to write about my Mom because my entire world revolves around her. Where do I begin? Can I thank her enough? Will I make a fool of myself? None the less I have decided to do a blog post because I owe it to my dear Mom

short Mothers Day Poem.

Mothers love in childhood

When I was a child Mummy had a great impact on my life as she was more than a dad in the house. My daddy was a seafarer and used to be away from home for many months put together. She never showed me or my sister that she missed dad and continued with her job and household duties with a smile.M y sister Farzeen and I always wanted attention and that extra admiration from MOm. She was a woman of principle and one very strong lady. However much she cried while watching melodramatic movies she stood up and shone during family Crisis.

What My Mom Taught Me

She taught me never to be ashamed of any work I do, or the same clothes I would repeat at function. She even pointed out that education was very important and it is always good to speak what you feel. However, she emphasized on the ill effects of telling lies, stealing and disrespect to elders.
My Mom was a Parent, teacher, guide, philosopher but most of all a very dear friend.
She always laughed and advised me in a fun way and said “wait till you get old and grey! .Wait till you have children of your own! Wait till you bones creek with pain”.Now I remember those golden words and blush when I have a daughter of my own.
Deeply truly and most lovingly I appreciate what you have done for me.

Thank you, MOM, you are the World to me.  There’s nothing more strong, unique, and sacred than the connection between a mom and a daughter.
This picture has my Mom cut her Mothers Day cake.  Here, we had the best Mother’s ever. She was surrounded by her children and grand children. I especially wrote a Short Mothers Day poem for her on this special day.
I would like to end with this heartfelt poem.
short Mothers Day Poem
My Precious Mother
Mom You’ve given me so much,
Love from your heart
and the warmth of your touch.
The gift of life and you’re a friend to me.
We have a very Special Bond
which only comes from God…
I’m sure you agree.
As a child I would say Mommy I Love You,
Now you’re my Mother so dear
I love you even more
with each and every new year.
If I could have chosen,
I would have picked no other.
Than for you…to be my lifelong friend
and a precious Mother

Hope you liked my short Mothers Day Poem that I  had penned for my Mom, my sweet pearl. The apple of my eye.
