After the Covid-19 situation, I need to take that holiday I deserve. It’s high time I strike out a few off my travel bucket list. I have been saving up my pennies to at least step foot into every continent in the world to experience its food, culture, and people. It was getting exciting to list the 6 top destinations for Indian Traveler.

Asking friends, checking travel trends was the next step. Surely it’s easier done on the internet and social networking sites where my fellow bloggers post pictures and stories about their vacations. Getting me excited and wanting to do the same.  Nearby destinations or exotic locations? Beaches or mountains? Shopping or Casinos? What’s your pick?

Let’s discuss the 6 top destinations for Indian Traveler shortlisted by me.

1.The Scintillating South Korea

Did you know that your visit to Jeju Island in Korea is visa-free? Just as South East Asia has Bali, India has Goa, South Korea has Jeju Islands. Now its a top contender for the best tropical beach getaways.

Korea is a beautiful country and unique in many ways. It has been proved to be a very safe country for women. South Korea offers so much, a blend of coastal fishing villages, sub-tropical islands, and high-tech cities. Travel enthusiasts can experience everything from volcanoes to Buddhist temples, high-tech cities to picturesque countryside.

Seychelles is home to some of the most impressive beaches in the world. Mahe is more developed than the other islands but also with much more traffic and lots of attractions.

6. The Amazing Armenia

Armenia is a country in the southern Caucasus and is the smallest of the former Soviet republics bordered by Georgia on the north, Azerbaijan on the east, Iran on the south, and Turkey on the west. Yerevan is the capital city of Armenia. The influence of Russian culture is predominantly seen. Taken inspiration from my daughter’s Zenia Irani recent trip to Armenia.

Visa- All Indians can easily get an e-visa on the net following a well-explained procedure. Visa on arrival is the other option however it’s best to do it online to avoid long Visa lines at the airport.

How to get there –  Air Arabia offers great budget deals at approx INR 25,000 for a return trip, with one stopover.

Best time to visitIf you’re planning to visit Armenia, the best time to visit would be from May to early October. Winters are quite severe here.

    This is such an exciting and inspiring list of travel destinations! I would want to go and see them all for sure. The one that I really didn’t know about at all was the Jeju Islands in South Korea. That really does sound like a wonderful place for a nature lover like me. All of these places are quite different from each other and offer a lot to tourists to have a great holiday. Thank you for such great ideas and information on best times to go.

    Jeju Island is a beautiful Korean island. I enjoyed my time when I visited it last year. I’m definitely coming back to it this year.
